Fernando Faria de Bastos is a founding partner of FBL Advogados, having his work focused particularly in the area of civil and criminal litigation.
He has vast experience in representing leading multinational companies in various legal actions on the grounds of infringement of industrial property rights, including imitation and counterfeiting. His criminal litigation practice has developed in the representation of clients in complex cases, of both a criminal and a misdemeanour nature, providing specialised and customised legal advice.
He also advises major economic and private investment groups in foreign investment operations in Angola, with a special focus on real estate projects.
Particularly active in matters relating to Industrial Property Law, as one of the few experts in this area in Angola. Manager and senior technical officer of PRI - Propriedade Industrial, Lda., a commercial company engaged in registering industrial property rights with the Angolan Industrial Property Institute.
